Awards and Recognition
Rick Bumgardner (B.F.A., photography, 2004) won a $10,000 grand prize in PCPhoto Magazine's "Iconic Locations" photography contest. Out of more than 4,000 images submitted, his, shot in Venice, Italy, was selected as the grand prize winner. It has been published in the November issue of the magazine. Baumgardner won a Canon 5D digital SLR camera, a pro-grade lens, software, a tripod, cash, a seven-night hotel stay, a monitor, printer calibration devices and much more, valued at approximately $10,000.
