Black Bottom Parade game in Hong Kong lobby
Black Bottom Parade, a custom-built interactive table game designed and developed by a team of six SCAD students, was a finalist for juried categories and an audience choice award at Indiecade, an international festival of independent games. Black Bottom Parade was built for the lobby of the SCAD Hong Kong location by an interdisciplinary team of undergraduate students who were guided in their research by SCAD professors John Sharp, Matthew Maloney and David Spencer.

Metropolis, a respected architecture and design publication celebrating its 30th anniversary, spotlighted SCAD's design for sustainability program in a survey of the most progressive, pioneering graduate programs in the country. Moeller collaborates on instructional videos
Terry Moeller, professor of foundation studies, collaborated with Royal Talens in the filming of two instructional art videos. Royal Talens, a Dutch company, is a manufacturer of artist grade colors including Rembrandt oils paints and pastels, Van Gogh oils, and Amsterdam acrylics. The videos cover alla prima or "wet into wet" painting and traditional layered painting techniques. The videos will be dubbed into eight different languages and are currently shown on their dealer websites and distributed through artist magazines online including American Artist and Professional Artist. Eric Dickinson also worked on the two videos.

Lim to be session speaker, panelist
SCAD Professor Jong Hyun Lim was invited as a session speaker and panelist for conferences in Naples, Italy, and in Isle of Man, United Kingdom. He presented a field project on the Montgomery historic community focusing on heritage recording and documentation techniques as well as community involvement and planning. The project itself is still under progress through SCAD historic preservation classes. So far, more than 50 students have been involved in the project.

Under the instruction of SCAD Professor James Abraham, 17 historic preservation graduate students prepared a report that led to the rehabilitation of the two-story, vernacular-style house built in 1910 for Herbert Dunlevie of the Dunlevie Lumber Company, one the first working sawmills in the State of Georgia.

Black Bottom Parade game in Hong Kong lobby
Black Bottom Parade, a custom-built interactive table game designed and developed by a team of six SCAD students, was a finalist for juried categories and an audience choice award at Indiecade, an international festival of independent games. Black Bottom Parade was built for the lobby of the SCAD Hong Kong location by an interdisciplinary team of undergraduate students who were guided in their research by SCAD professors John Sharp, Matthew Maloney and David Spencer.
