B.F.A. painting student Cory Elder interned with the Andy Warhol Museum and through the museum he got involved with other organizations that worked closely with the community such as: Summer Dreamers MLK Elementary, La Mayne Community Center, Family Promise, and the Rankin Christian Center in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Elder worked closely with children ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade. Part of his outreach involved using screen-printing and other printing processes to get children in lower income communities involved with the arts.

She is an artist, lecturer and director of the Educational Enhancement Department at Mongolia International University. She completed an M.F.A. at Pratt Institute in 2009. Prior to moving to Mongolia, she lived and worked as an artist in Brooklyn, New York.

Atteka Abdou (M.A., painting, 2010) had a solo exhibit of her thesis show, "Dangerous Attractions," on display at Georgia Highlands College. Her thesis show was previously on exhibit at the Studioplex Gallery in Atlanta, and she has also had pieces on display at the Archetype Gallery in Atlanta. Abdou's work explores the detrimental effect plastic pollution has on marine ecosystems.
