"David" was also named an official selection at the Rome International Film Festival, the Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Miami International Film Festival.

(government relations, DVD training), "On the Road - Tonopah" (corporate image, Web series) and "Their World" (nonprofit PSA). Mauch also edited 2010 Silver Telly Award winner "One of These Things." "Made in China," edited by Mauch, won the 2009 South by Southwest Grand Jury Prize, the 2009 Chicago Film Festival Silver Hugo Award, the 2009 Oldenburg Film Festival Audience Award and the 2009 Newport Beach Film Festival Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking Award. "Made in China" has been shown on IFC and Sundance Channel and is available on Netflix.

Matt Niehoff (B.F.A., video/film, 2004) founded Thoughtfly Films in 2008 with business partner Brian Cunningham, working with clients such as GE, Maker's Mark, Papa John's and McDonalds. In 2011, they released their first feature film, "Overtime," an action/comedy starring former WWE superstar Al Snow. The film premiered at the Fandom Film Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, to a sold-out crowd of more 800 people. 'Overtime' also earned eight awards at the festival, including the coveted "Best of Fest" award.

"Lights - The End Hollywood Didn't Want You to See," a Kickstarter project by Blake Feldman (M.A., film and television, 2011), is a sweeping, historical drama of a man who is given the opportunity to undo a life-changing mistake he made decades ago. Help send the film crew to Slovakia to authentically recreate the Warsaw Pact invasion of 1968 and one man's fight for freedom of expression by backing the Kickstarter project by Aug. 9.
Khatami particpates in Cannes festival

M.F.A. film and television student Alireza Khatami recently returned from Paris, France, where he was one of six participants in the 24th session of The Résidence of the Festival de Cannes - Cinéfondation, developing his first feature film "Oblivion Verses." Khatami also recently completed a project that was selected for Script Station at the 62nd Berlinale and has the financial support of the Hubert Bals Fund from the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
