Harpel play finalist in national competition

M.F.A. dramatic writing student Nate Harpel was selected as one of four finalists to compete in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival National Competition in Washington, D.C. He has been invited to participate in the KCACTF's residency program, which will culminate with a performance of his 10-minute play, "Like Pigeons," in April 2013 at the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater. Susan Scott interns at The Gersh Agency

M.F.A. dramatic writing student Susan Scott is interning with The Gersh Agency in Beverly Hills, California. The Gersh Agency is a well-known talent agency that represents actors, writers, directors and playwrights in two locations: New York and Beverly Hills. Scott is working in the Film Financing/Distribution Department preparing film budgets, reading and pitching new screen scripts, and reviewing contracts between the agency and third parties.
