Chris Miller, Ph.D., professor of design management, presented a paper, titled "Exploring the Aftermath of Organizational Change: Mary Douglas's Cultural Theory," at the American Anthropological Association 2008 Presidential Session Nov. 19-23 in San Francisco. She is also secretary for the National Association for the Practice of Anthropology.
Brian Rabalais joins Proctor & Gamble

Brian Rabalais (M.A., design management, 2008) accepted a position as brand identity design manager for Proctor & Gamble, Bethel, Conn., for the company's Duracell division. He will work closely with the global design manager to define the overall look, tone and feel of products and will have a key role in defining and deploying global marketing strategies. Rabalais is the first graduate of the M.A. in design management program at SCAD.
