SCAD announces Sidewalk Arts Festival winners

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Despite rain that threatened to wash away the art, the Savannah College of Art and Design held its annual Sidewalk Arts Festival Saturday, April 26, in Forsyth Park. Thousands of visitors viewed temporary chalk masterpieces created on the sidewalks of the historic park, and more than 500 SCAD students competed for prizes. More than 100 SCAD alumni and 109 prospective SCAD students also participated in the competition.
