SCAD Student Activities Council presents David Kushner, a digital gaming and culture expert

SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Savannah College of Art and Design presents David Kushner, a digital gaming and culture expert, April 8, 7 p.m., at the Trustees Theater, 216 E. Broughton St. The event is free and open to the public.

David Kushner is a contributing editor to Wired and Rolling Stone magazines and author of nonfiction books "Masters of Doom: How Two Guys Created an Empire and Transformed Pop Culture" and "Jonny Magic and the Card Shark Kids: How a Gang of Geeks Beat the Odds and Stormed Las Vegas." No one is more qualified to comment on the rise of techno-culture than Kushner. For more than a decade, he has chronicled this cutting-edge world in books and numerous articles for magazines including Spin and Salon.
