11/04/2006 Savannah Film Festival concludes with awards presentation Nov. 4: Screening of "The Queen" followed award ceremony SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Savannah Film Festival, hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design and sponsored by Memorial Health, the Savannah Morning News, the City of Savannah, Coca-Cola and Bessemer Trust screened "The Queen" following the film festival awards presentation, Nov. 4., 7 p.m. at Trustees Theater, 216 E. Broughton St.
Starring Helen Mirren, James Cromwell and Michael Sheen, "The Queen" takes an intimate, revealing and somewhat humorous look at the British royal family following the death of Princess Diana.
Professional screenings included "The Trouble with Dee Dee," "Mac an Athar," "Disappearances" and "Second Thoughts."
