Dayna Caldwell receives Thesis Proposal Award

Savannah art history graduate student Dayna Caldwell received the university's Graduate Thesis Proposal Award for her project "Navajo Textiles: Autonomy and the Marketplace." Art history professors Denise Smith, Ph.D. of SCAD Atlanta and Jane Rehl, Ph.D. of SCAD Savannah serve as members of her thesis committee. Caldwell presented her ongoing research project to the annual meeting of The Textile Society of America and received a scholarship to attend the 2012 Southwestern Textile Identification and Analysis Workshop.
