American Legion exhibition by Laura Way to benefit Honoring Sandrino's Sacrifice Fund

Laura Way (B.F.A., painting, 2009) will present an exhibition at the American Legion Post 135, 1108 Bull St., Savannah, Georgia, Aug. 6-8. A reception is scheduled 6-9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8. The wife of a U.S. Army Ranger, Way finds inspiration for her work in the difficulties and fears faced by spouses of soldiers at war. Way seeks donations in which proceeds from gifts she designed will go toward Honoring Sandrino's Sacrifice Fund in memory of Sgt. Alessandro Leonard Plutino, who was killed in action while in Afghanistan Aug. 8, 2011. Make a donation.
