Electronic Entertainment Expo competition top prize goes to SCAD team for "Prisma" game

After travelling to Los Angeles for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) for their nominated game “Prisma,” SCAD’s team of interactive design and game development students took home the top prize in the 2014 E3 College Game Competition. This is the second year in a row that a SCAD team won.

The winning team members include:

  • Alex Méndez, B.F.A. interactive design and game development student
  • Khoa D. Nguyen, B.FA., interactive design and game development, 2013
  • Kevin Ridgway, B.F.A. animation, 2012
  • Angelica M. Rodriguez-Vazquez, B.F.A., interactive design and game development, 2014
  • Hank M. Silman III, B.F.A. interactive design and game development student

“Prisma” was created over nine months in professor Tony Tseng’s senior studio class at the SCAD Atlanta campus, and follows a girl named Ray as she journeys through different color-coded dimensions.
