Higher Education Opportunity Act
The Higher Education Opportunity Act (Public Law 110-315) (HEOA) was enacted on August 14, 2008, and reauthorizes the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA). This legislation includes disclosure and reporting requirements for postsecondary education institutions. SCAD is committed to meeting these requirements by making information available to current and prospective students, parents, faculty, employees and the general public.

SCAD Fact Book
SCAD makes available to current and prospective students information about student body diversity, including the percentage of enrolled, full-time students in the following categories: male, female and self-identified members of a major racial or ethnic group in the SCAD Fact Book.
In Fall 2014, 22 percent of the enrolled, full-time undergraduates received a Federal Pell Grant and were Federal Pell Grant recipients.
